Well it's certainly remote!! And very, very beautiful. The antithesis of Phuket. There are no roads and of course no cars. Only boats!! The hotel sent a boat to pick people up from the ferry. But I was keen to walk and asked for directions. That's not possible either!! There are some tracks but nothing is linked up and without a map and compass and a machete, forget it. Anyway, the boat trip was exhilarating and the captain(!), Rudi, a real card! I had the boat and his company to myself. Really enjoyed it!!
Looking forward to exploring a bit tomorrow. Only staying 2 nights, so one full day to see what's what!!
