So, Mandalay day 2. A more leisurely day starting with a boat trip. A great half day excursion, puttering up the Ayeyarwady to the riverside village of Mingun. The most relaxing thing I have done since I've been away!! And whilst I very much enjoyed the village itself, the journey was undoubtedly the star of the show. The village boasts three attractions. Two temples, one of which can only be described as the largest pile of bricks I have ever seen, and the worlds largest uncracked bell. Then on to the Royal Palace.
