Final day in Mandalay before moving to Inle Lake. Would have set off yesterday but the bus was full! Still plenty to do here though. Caught up on the blog this morning before a double dose of coffee and cake!! Something a little more cultural pm with a visit to Inwa, which served as the Burmese capital for the best part of 4 centuries. Not a lot left now and what is is mostly 19th century. Still very much worth seeing. Pick of the bunch was the Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery and the Bagaya Kyaung, another monastery built from teak. The Nanmyin Watchtower was also quite impressive.
